“Expertise and cybersecurity”

Computer expertise is the inquiry and investigations carried out to obtain computer evidence in a judicial matter so that it can be used by a judge to decide on the guilt or innocence of one of the parties. Within this area, there are no fixed ways to carry out the necessary tasks, but there are advice or good practices. We will examine some real cases and recommended standars.

17:00 h – 19:00 h.- Workshops

The workshop explores the use of sensitivity analysis of social media (e.g. Twitter) and platforms (e.g. Google Trends) to examine user responses to certain publications, geographically and seasonally. Participants will learn about how sensitivity analysis works and will have the chance to try out their own analyses.

The workshop provides a practical introduction to the tools used in the deployment of multi-tenant Cloud applications serving tens of thousands of users. The workshop includes a practical demonstration of the Docker Compose orchestration tool for the deployment and configuration of a Docker container application. As well as explaining the main features of Docker Compose and the most common container configurations, the workshop will also demonstrate how the Ansible orchestration tool is used to automate deployment tasks for Docker applications in Cloud environments.

Technical requirements:

    1. PC running Windows, minimum 8GB RAM.
    2. Docker Desktop (https://www.docker.com/products/docker-desktop) snd Git (https://git-scm.com/).
    3. Github user account.
    4. pgAdmin management tool (optional).
    5.

This practical testing workshop uses an imaginary case to show how TDD (Test-Driven Development) can be used to find and fix bugs faster. The aim of the workshop is to take participants through the whole process, beginning with an initial analysis of the problem and the verification and validation criteria to be used, just as they would in a real functionality testing scenario.

Technical requirements: Java, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code.

Participants will learn how to build an observability ecosystem from scratch for an application based on a distributed microservices architecture. The workshop will explain what microservices are and why traditional monitoring and supervision techniques need to be adapted to deal with the dynamic, frequently changing nature of microservices applications.

Technical requirements: Demo project for the workshop: https://github.com/adriannovegil/spring-petclinic-microservices-inspectit.
